Position Overview

The HVAC Duct Cleaner is responsible for the thorough cleaning and maintenance of residential and/or commercial air duct systems. This role is vital for improving indoor air quality and ensuring HVAC systems operate at peak efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with physical labor, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• System Inspection: Conduct initial assessments of ductwork to identify debris buildup, mold, or structural damage using specialized cameras or visual inspection.
• Cleaning Operations: Use high-powered vacuum systems, compressed air, and mechanical brushes to remove dust, allergens, and debris from ducts and vents.
• Component Maintenance: Clean and sanitize associated HVAC components, including supply and return registers, grilles, and diffusers.
• Quality Assurance: Perform post-cleaning inspections to ensure all contaminants have been removed and the system is sealed properly.
• Customer Interaction: Explain the cleaning process to clients, provide recommendations for system maintenance, and ensure the workspace is left clean and tidy.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and ladder safety, while operating in tight spaces or at heights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of HVAC service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
